Holy Island
Discover the Magic of the Farnes & Holy Island
Step aboard from Seahouses on the first purpose-built, double-decker 15-metre catamaran, designed for comfort, space, and unbeatable views.
Your journey begins with a spectacular cruise around the Farne Islands, where you’ll get up close to the bustling seabird colonies and the famous grey seals. With no landings, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights from the best seat in the house.
From there, we’ll set course for the world-famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne—timed perfectly with the tide so that the island is cut off from the mainland. This is the best time to experience the island’s peace, tranquillity, and unique atmosphere.
You’ll have two hours ashore to explore at your own pace. Wander through history at the Priory Museum (English Heritage), climb to Lindisfarne Castle (National Trust), sample the island’s traditional mead at St Aidan’s Winery, go up the Look Out Tower (which is free), and enjoy some stunning views from the top, or uncover local heritage at the Museum of Island Life and Visitor Centre.
Prefer a slower pace? Enjoy a leisurely stroll, pop into one of the island’s welcoming cafés, pubs, or shops, or simply soak up the serenity of island life. (Please note: attraction opening times vary, and we recommend booking ahead if you’d like a meal while on the island.)
Back onboard, you’ll find two toilets, a spacious upper deck with panoramic views, and a sheltered area for cooler days. Dogs are warmly welcomed, and prams or buggies can be accommodated. (Unfortunately, this trip is not wheelchair accessible.)
This isn’t just a boat trip—it’s a day full of wildlife, history, and unforgettable scenery.
Book now to secure your place on this unique Farne Islands & Holy Island adventure!
