We are a small family operated business running guided wildlife tours around the Farne Islands, sailing daily from Seahouses harbour.
Andrew and Toby Douglas have worked together for many years and with the help of their small but friendly staff we can offer the very best visitor experience to these incredible islands with their abundant wildlife, long history and folk-lore.
Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours are licensed to land on the National Trust Islands and Bird Sanctuaries of the Farnes. Our experienced wildlife guides offer full on-board commentary and will help you make the most of your Farnes experience.
Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours also operates throughout the winter offering 1.5 hour sail arounds to see the grey seals, 4 hour winter wildlife trip, looking for passing and rare birds and a 4-hour grey seal pup trip with 2 hours on the island. Both 4 hour trips will be on scheduled dates which will be found on our other pages.
Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours are able to accommodate wheelchair access on board Serenity II depending on the tides at Seahouses harbour. Serenity II is also the perfect platform for photographers, birders and none sea going people as the boat is twin-hulled catamaran which is very stable in the water. Both boats have toilets on board and are fully licenced by the MCA.
Serenity II and III has proved a success that we have now invested in a new catamaran Serenity which is now the largest of our vessels.
All our tours are weather permitting.
We can be contacted by telephone during the day from Easter until the middle of November from 9am until 5pm at our harbour booking office: 01665 721667 or contact Andrew on 07984668093 anytime day or night especially during the winter.
